KRX INVASION at Windrock Off-Road Park

SEPTEMBER 6-7-8 ... KRX INVASION 2024 at Windrock Off-Road Park

From the toughest trails at Windrock to the Shenanigans of the KRX INVASION....a.k.a. Obstacle course and mud bog.
We watched a few and rode a few.

Picture is a four seater being winched off the tire obstacle. video below.

Weather was absolutely perfect, although the dust was thick............ It  has been dry for several weeks.

A bit of trail action on our way to find Panther Rock. Several videos are now up on our YouTube Channel...............www.youtube.com/@jerrychafton

Since my girls didn't ride today (see back story at bottom of this post)..I hooked up with a group of folks that were camped by us at Windrock Gap Campground.

I certainly was grateful for the invitation. Got to check out some trails I have not been on. And didn't need to lead a group for a change.

Kurt and Kelly did a great job.

As we made our way to the top the ruts got deeper and deeper. This might have been a much bigger challenge if it had been raining.

There was a maize of different routes to take over to the Lookout.

But we managed to find Panther Rock.

Everybody got plenty of pictures.

No, this is not Panther Rock.....it's just a painted rock somebody placed on top of Panther Rock....

It was in memory of someone so we left it alone and moved on.

Figured I better get a selfie type picture myself just so you wouldn't think I stole these pictures.

Time to head back down the mountain.

And at the next trail intersection we get checked for permits and alcohol.

We made it thru, no problem......Really nice Security Ranger from Windrock Off-Road Park.

So after many, many miles of trail riding we stopped off at the KRX Invasion Obstacle Course as it was winding up. We watched a few drivers and headed back to camp.

Another good day on the Mountain.....

Hope mama has dinner ready...lol

Back Story:

Christine and Annie (our little chick magnet) only rode about 15 miles yesterday and Annie had some kind of anxiety attack. She was acting odd, shivering, panting profusely, trying to hide in the floorboard. We think maybe her hips were hurting and she was trying to hide from the pain. Just a guess, so we turned around and took them back to camp. Probably will be her last cross-country ride in the buggy.
