Cayo Costa and Punta Gorda

The Admiral taking over the helm of "Happy Ours" for a while. Piloting her way to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda. Stopping off at Cayo Costa for the night. Connie and Paula in "Just Right" not too far behind. Great weather, good trip, just didn't last long enough.

One of our favorite spots for an overnight stop. The Rangers are very friendly and the park is beautiful. We normally anchor out but this time we spent the night at the dock. No facilities but very rustic "Old Florida". Camping is allowed on the beach too.

New docks were added after Hurricane Charlie wiped out the old ones. Kinda cool today so not much activity this afternoon.

Christine says, OK enough pictures. I'm ready to head on to Punta Gorda. Lot's to do at Fisherman's Village.

Arriving at Fisherman's Wharf we take a walk around the Marina to check out the neighborhood.
