WOW...Just so much going on lately that it's becoming overwhelming to keep up the Blog. Very short stories and a few pictures in this order below.
It all started with selling the Hot Rod.
Then the search for another project, an old Jeep to Build.
Then the 14th Annual Steelhorse Stampede in Burkesville, Ky.
Then we were Motorhome Shopping with our son and daughter-in-law.
Next was prepping and heading out for a full week to West Virginia for some awesome riding with our Hoosier/Buckeye Buddies on the Hatfield-McCoy trails.
Then helping Mama with the First Annual Holy Apostles Church Yard/Barn Sale.
And Yesterday we hosted the "Langley Brothers and a few Others" for a Lunch Stop on their way to Florida.....
Now try to keep up as I put these pictures in their proper position.
I am supplying a map to help you.
Yeah, It's complicated.
After a 2 1/2 year long build process and a handful of car shows I decided to switch horses.
Although I really like my Car Show Buddies.....I just don't have the patience for it. Not enough action I guess.
Sold this Beauty to a very deserving Gentleman in Tennessee. But I kept the trophies...LOL
Then I went shopping for my next project in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and finally Tennessee,.
She's a 2006 Jeep LJ, only produced from late 04' thru 2006.
Stories of the build process in the future.
Meeting in Bowling Green for the ride to Burkesville, Ky.
Good turn out,
Glad to see Jimmy and Robin with the Harley Gang.
We still ride on special occasions but not like we did in the past.
Video of the crowd as we pull out from Downtown Burkesville, Kentucky
Then it's off to Montgomery, Alabama to check out a specific year and model of the Illusive Foretravel Motorcoach for Jimmy and Robin.
And it looked and drove so good that we brought it back with us. Wish I had more pictures but I was kinda busy inspecting this Jewel...... Same Day--all done.
Now they have One Week to prep and load for the trip to West Virginia.....no problem, just get busy.
Loaded up and ready to pull out for West Virginia.....
Set up camp, unload the buggies and start riding. Heading over the mountain and thru the woods to Bramwell today for lunch at The Corner Shop.
Just another awesome sight..... compliments of West Virginia
Ye Old Train Station...I think this one was in Bramwell.....

Heading for more trails. In the Rain.
Ya Gotta love the characters that ride these trails
And Mama waits patiently
Annie says....let's go, we're burnin' daylight
And we found a few neat sites along the way. Lunch was good, scenery great, and weather just a bit chilly.
Back at camp and get ready for supper and tomorrows ride.
At the entrance to Ashland ATV
Resort....
Todays Hearty Handfull
Jimmy and Robin suited up and ready....map in hand.
This might be the day we headed over the mountains and thru the woods and across the creeks to
Welch, WV...
Two of the Langley Brothers...Tom and Rocky
I want to be just like them when I grow up...
Many houses in these communities have already decorated for Halloween
Never know what you might find out on these trails
And this is the 94 mile ride down the road, thru the woods, over the mountains, across the creeks, and thru the communities to Mullens, WV for lunch at The Rusted Musket...
Creekside rest area.....complete with toilet.
Yes, we looked.
Probably someones favorite fishing hole.
Big Foot was in the back yard of the Rusted Musket looking for a Busch Lite
Tom and Jerry.....on point. Old guys rule.
After a couple of these, Denise started chanting Red/Black, Red/Black, Red/Black..
That is the color on the map of the hardest trails Hatfield McCoy has to offer.
And as you can see everybody was happy, especially after those Margaritas....
As we leave Mullens to look for that Red/Black trail Denise is wanting to ride.
These Langley Hoosiers are up to anything..,.
Still looking for that Red/Black Trail
Denise says we're almost there.....
Just a couple more mud holes
I think we found her Red/Black...
VIDEOS PLEASE .............
Jerry and Tom leading down the Red/Black trail....Old Guys Rule
Can you Hear Denise now?? I don't think she is chanting Red/Black any more.
Looks like the end is near.....Nothing to it, just some scratches and broken fender flares
Thank You Denise Langley for these videos
Time to head back to camp.......
And another day wrapped up at Hatfield- McCoy....Back at camp
