Well, it's Christmas break for the kids so while we're home we will do some off-roading.
We found this old Log Cabin on one of the trails here at "Blue Holler"....
a new trail system just outside the Mammoth Cave National Park boundary. Really nice having a place to ride so close to home, only 45 minutes away.
Austin brought along his girl friend Elizabeth for this cold, rainy day ride in the woods.
Also found some really cool rock formations on the trail. This is limestone country and these hills are chock full of caves and ledges.
Won't be doing a lot of hiking on this trip due to the weather. It's snotty slick and can hardly walk without falling.
Elizabeth says....I can't believe I'm sitting smack dab in the middle of a mud hole somewhere in the hills of Kentucky....
What was I thinking when I said we should go muddin" today....
This Austin guy is totally nuts !!!!!
OK, let's get this RZR out of mud and back on the trails...We got lots more challenges ahead.
Like lunch at the Blue Holler cafe just down the road......
These trails are new (Opened in Sept) so it's very slick....Trails haven't been rutted out enough for good traction and the rain hasn't helped either.
We even had to have our 4x4 Chevy pulled out of the parking lot...
I think Elizabeth has had about all the fun she can stand for one day...Let's get these things home and cleaned up.....Ma and Pa are heading back to Florida on Monday....Load em' up
