DAY 3..Sightseeing the Black Hills

We took the day off from riding to get the dust out of our teeth. So we took a truck ride down to Crazy Horse and Custer.  Jimmy had never been to the town of Custer but had been to Custer State Park with the Harley Group. Here’s a few pics of our day.

Made our way to Custer.....the town of the Bison. Can’t seem to get the pics to load full size.......just click the pic to enlarge any picture.

1881 Courthouse museum...it’s worth seeing but they required a mask. South Dakota does not require but the folks inside do. So we moseyed on downtown. I have been thru it years ago.....so no loss on my part.

Not a lot going on downtown, few shoppers, few tourists, and a cowboy or two.
And two rednecks from Kentucky.

We took a quick stop at Crazy Horse monument to check on the progress.
If you have never been here you are missing a treat. Just be sure to watch the short movie before seeing the museum. I was here in 2005, 2016, and now. Progress is slow but what a challenge.

We stopped at this Roadside Trump Shop so I could meet Donald, but would you believe he had just left for D.C.....They said he had to get back and kick Joe’s ass.

Was it Caesar that once said, “When in Rome do as the Roman’s” ? Well, we are in Trump Country for sure. Gotta fly the colors.

The buggies are rolling in now. The campground will be full, mostly with people here for the “Ridgies” event starting tomorrow. They expect 80 people, I hope that don’t mean 80 buggies. This will either be a blast or a total cluster fug.

SURE HOPE THE PICS ARE BETTER TOMORROW...
